Business Continuity Management

Business Continuity Management is the continuation of operations in the event of a disruption, whether due to a major disaster or a minor incident. It is a fundamental requirement for any organization.

The C2C SmartCompliance Approach

C2C has developed and utilizes a suite of tools based on the C2C B-GRC approach and methodology. These tools enable rapid assessment, measurements and management across the entire project. C2C staff are accredited as BSI approved trainers, Lead Auditors and implementers for ISO/IEC 22301. In addition, C2C has held positions in large organizations and financial institutions responsible for the Disaster Recovery (DR) and BCM processes. C2C’s BCP methodology has built in flexibility enabling you to easily align your organization’s Business Continuity Plan to ISO/IEC 22301, FFIEC, NFPA 1600 and CERT with minimal effort.

All BCP/BCM projects should have a logical structure; the greatest issue surrounding BCP/BCM projects is the amount of information being collected, the management of infrastructures and the organization of management and personnel. The C2C approach and methodology takes this into account from the onset.

C2C believes that BCP must focus on business issues rather than simply the computing impacts of a particular business area. The BCP methodology has been developed to utilize a holistic approach so that issues impacting the business are considered. Resulting plans to identify and mitigate risks, resume business functions, and restore operations following a disaster or service interruption should reflect this business focus.

The C2C team also undertakes ISO/IEC 22301 Lead Auditor, Internal Audit and Implementation training and our teams have all achieved Lead Auditor status.
