Consult2Comply Facilitates Another Successful ISO 20000 Certification for a Leading IT Professional Services Firm in Just Three Months
August 12, 2010 | Reston, Virginia – Consult2Comply, a premier regulatory compliance software and services provider announced today that Indigo IT, an elite IT professional services firm focused on IT Infrastructure Solutions and Services, was presented with ISO 20000 certification in record time as a result of their partnership with Consult2Comply during an extensive auditing process. Indigo IT now takes its place among several of Consult2Comply’s clients who have been assessed with no non-conformities and unconditional approval, placing them among very few other corporations in the United States with this certification.
To obtain this accreditation, Indigo IT began their certification initiative in early May of 2010 and was required to pass a challenging evaluation of all of their management practices. Working with the experienced professionals at Consult2Comply, Rob Craig, Principal and Director of Business Development of Indigo IT, led the effort and his company passed the formal assessment for their stage one audit in just three months.

ISO 20000 is the world’s first, customer-focused international standard for IT Service Management. It defines the requirements for a service provider to deliver managed services, describes detailed best practices and specifies five key service management processes: Service Delivery, Relationship, Resolution, Control and Release. ISO 20000 contains the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for information technology (IT) service management, for the most cost-effective and efficient service delivery and promotes an integrated process approach to deliver managed service in order to meet requirements.
